ENFIELD – The State Bureau of Investigation issued warrants of arrest for two men who are now in custody in connection with a March 27 drive-by shooting and murder.

Jerrel Jones, 25, turned himself in to the SBI and the Enfield Police Department yesterday, and Montreal Williams, 26, turned himself in before noon today.

Both men face charges of first degree murder, two counts of attempted murder and discharging a firearm in connection with a pattern of street gang activity.

Wendell Sanders was killed March 27 while standing on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Ave. in Enfield.
